about

Walking the circumference of an irregular circle

Rie Nakajima – mechanical objects and objects
Guy De Bièvre - microcontroller, synthesizers, loudspeakers, resonators
Johan Vandermaelen – feed back, singing stones
Pierre Berthet - shaking dead plants, water drops

Recorded by David Cunningham during a performance on November 24th 2013 at Q-O2, mastered by Johan Vandermaelen.

The installation as a moment and the performance within the installation as a moment within the moment. Circular motion and feedback bring temporal motion to a state of suspension and this stasis becomes a field for pseudo and erratic linearity ; walking the circumference of an irregular circle.
