This work is centred on the creation of a continuously transforming soundscape using objects found in public space, vibrations, foley techniques and field recordings of the streetscape. In my attempt to replicate some of the layers, silences and cominglings in our collective soundscape in this way I am also focused here on examining the tensions between the associations of authenticity attached to field recording, and the fictions of foley techniques, Instruments and objects used include: geophone turntable, bird horns, steel wool, brushes, a toy car, marbles, drums and a zither.
