1. Stellan Veloce ::: Anyone Can Play Mouth Harp

The harmonica is seen both as a toy and as a very expressive musical instrument, depending who you are asking. Its inexpensiveness and egalitarian aura is opposed to the rich chords it produces and its subtle microtonal and melismatic improvisation possibilities. Anyone Can Play Mouth Harp is a piece for custom-tuned, diatonic harmonicas.

2. Yannick Guédon ::: a s p e _

How do we listen, how do we scrutinize the interior of one note? How can sounds heard inside the note of one vocalist create a scale of notes to be sung by other vocalists? Here, we attempt to sing what we have heard, what we hear, what we are going to hear.
This release acts as documentation of a performance we consider to be the first step in our ongoing research to further explore the potential of the score.
