    This radio work combines aural research about popular medicine, healing devotions and superstitions from Valtrompia, the valley where Elisa grew up in northern Italy. It also includes excerpts from a sound diary that she has kept since returning to Italy on 13 March 2020, the first week of social isolation enforced by the Italian government to control the Covid-19 pandemic.

Oscillation Mayday Radio Marathon took place over 39 hours in May 2020, incidentally during the Covid-19 lockdown. It was broadcast online and on FM radio, in collaboration with several community radio partners. Ten new pieces of the forty-six contributions are brought together for this series of five cassettes. Our gratitude to all the participating artists.
